Another day, another short post. I promise the serious stuff is coming in a few days.
I love Indian weddings. Whether North Indian or South Indian. Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, or Bengali, they all are great!
The rich culture on display, the rituals, the Vedic chants, and the huge variety of food served.
Then there is the gathering of relatives who you would not regularly meet. The grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Weddings are the best occasions to socialize. In the past, weddings used to be a means to finalize other alliances as well.
Weddings signify the union between man and woman and give a structure to unions.
Enough rambling for today. Now I go to have that cup of filter coffee.
Tomorrow, I sit and create a schedule.
